Black Sapote or Chocolate Pudding Fruit is a type of persimmon that when grown and ripened correctly tastes like dark chocolate pudding with about the same consistency. The Fruit looks similar to a persimmon but are slightly bulbus and green. Black Sapote is also one of the heaviest producers with a single tree able to have several hundred fruit a year. Each fruit can contain anywhere from 0-12 olive sized seeds, fruiting occurs 3-4 years from seed.

Plant comes in a standard 2.5 x 3" nursery pot with a house made high-end soil blend of peat, worm castings, organic composted yard waste and perlite mixed with top grade local soil.

All plants are grown in a green house and are given water only from a carefully calibrated aquaponics system for superior strength in plant and soil microbes for maximum growth.
