Dwarf Acai Palm

(Euterpe Oleracea Para Dwarf) 

1 Live Dwarf Acai Palm seedling 4" tall (7" in pot). Acai is a small, round, black-purple berry about 1" in circumference. Fruit looks similar to a grape, but smaller and with less pulp and produced in branched panicles of 500 to 900 fruits. The ripe fruits is a deep purple color the pulp is thin, with a consistent thickness of 1 mm or less. It surrounds a single large seed about 7–10 mm in diameter. The seed makes up about 60-80% of the fruit. The palm bears fruit year round but the berry cannot be harvested during the rainy season because of the massive height of the acai palm at more than 80 ft.

Dwarf Acai puts more effort into producing fruit than growing. So you can get more fruit off a shorter tree.

Plant comes in a standard 2.5 x 3" nursery pot with a house made high-end soil blend of peat, worm castings, organic composted yard waste and perlite mixed with top grade local soil.

All plants are grown in a green house and are given water only from a carefully calibrated aquaponics system for superior strength in plant and soil microbes for maximum growth.
