Peanut Butter Fruit

(Bunchosia Argentea) 

1 Live Bunchosia Argentea seedling 5" tall (8" in pot). Peanut Butter fruits are about the size and shape of a large olive. Its skin is thin and turns from orange to deep red when fully ripe. The internal pulp of the Peanut Butter fruit is very thick and slightly sticky surrounding a large seed. The fruit offers an aroma reminiscent of peanut butter and a sweet flavor comparable to sweet potato and dried fig. Once ripe Peanut Butter Fruits must be harvested immediately to prevent them from spoiling on the tree. Due to the delicate nature of the fruit, they are not suitable for shipping.

Plant comes in a standard 2x2x3.5inch nursery pot with a house made high-end soil blend of peat, worm castings, organic composted yard waste and perlite mixed with top grade local soil.

All plants are grown in a green house and are given water only from a carefully calibrated aquaponics system for superior strength in plant and soil microbes for maximum growth.
