Dwarf Red Cashew Apple

1 Live Dwarf Red Cashew Apple seedling 9" tall (12" in pot). Anacardium Occidentale, in the family Anacardiaceae is native to South America. Cashew nut or cashew apple can grow as tall as 14 metres (46 feet), but the dwarf cultivars, grow to around 15 ft. The cashew nut is edible used in recipes, or processed into cashew cheese or cashew butter. The nut is often simply called a 'cashew'.

Caution: Cashew seeds when harvested need to be processed carefully because they have a caustic liquid in them that will burn your skin if prepared incorrectly.

Plant comes in a standard 2x2x3.5inch nursery pot with a house made high-end soil blend of peat, worm castings, organic composted yard waste and perlite mixed with top grade local soil.

All plants are grown in a green house and are given water only from a carefully calibrated aquaponics system for superior strength in plant and soil microbes for maximum growth.
