1 Live Purple Chrysophyllum Cainito seedling 6" tall (9" in pot). Star Apple is a common native fruit of the Caribbean but is a rare fruit out side of its native range. There are three types of Star Apple Purple, Green, and Yellow. The yellow is called Abiu and is said to be better tasting but is very rare. Purple Star Apple tend to have thicker skin with less pulp than the green and yellow. Star Apple has a taste like milky brown sugar with a berry and slight lychee after taste. Star Apple are eaten out of hand or used in drinks and smoothies. Star Apple is also a Medicinal, The fruit can help restricted breathing problems ,its high in antioxidants and its leaves are used to regulate blood sugar levels to help with Diabetes and help with overall Rheumatism Issues (joints and soft tissue).

Plant comes in a standard 2x2x3.5inch nursery pot with a house made high-end soil blend of peat, worm castings, organic composted yard waste and perlite mixed with top grade local soil.

All plants are grown in a green house and are given water only from a carefully calibrated aquaponics system for superior strength in plant and soil microbes for maximum growth.
